Enabling Patients to Get Active for Better Health – Let’s Do This!
“There is no situation, there is no age and no condition where exercise is not a good thing.”
Chief Medical Officer, Prof. Chris Whitty (April 2020)
As a healthcare professional, you play a unique role in supporting people to be more active, with one in four people stating that they would be more active if advised by a healthcare professional.
Join us for Public Health England’s FREE Online Physical Activity in Clinical Care Training for Healthcare Professionals (1-hour). More than 150 people have already attended across Bucks, Ox and Berkshire!
You’ll learn more about the benefits of physical activity, current CMO guidelines, how to provide brief advice during consultations and signposting. Plus hear from your local Active Partnership about activity opportunities in your area: Get Berkshire Active, Leap and Active Oxfordshire (the Thames Valley Active Partnerships).
This training is delivered by a Physical Activity Clinical Champion and funded by Public Health England. CPD certificates are provided.
