A 2 day Introduction to Contraception and Reproductive Sexual Health in Primary care
The understanding of contraception, how it works and the sexual health implications are extremely important for the practice nurse as she will be encountering it at many of her consultations. Day 1 will suit practitioners who only see these patients as an incidental to their other work (I.e Smear takers) others may be regularly doing regular pill, depo checks with no training and both they and the practice will benefit from Day 2 as well. This will make you more confident and competent with the regular consultations in these areas. So take the opportunity to improve your knowledge and to feel more confident in practice.
